Out with the old and in with the new!

Well it is new years eve and I can't believe everything that I have accomplished within a year. This day last year I was on a plane for the first time, little did I know I would become a pro. I am so proud of myself that I have stuck with school through all the changes that my life has taken. Chase and I have learned how strong our relationship can be. We survived a break in and a car accident with an insurance company that did not want to cooperate. I know we still have a lot of head of us, but I believe that we have made a pretty good start. Chase has always been there for me, especially with family. I have been upset that I wasn't able to come home when Uncle Bobby was hit and when Nicole had Clara. I randomly got upset the other night and cried because I missed it.
I have some rants for the end of the new year. Just because I am married does not mean I am boring. I am so sick of people judging me and my life. Is their life that boring that they need to pity me. I have never liked to go to bars and waste my money on beer or at clubs. Just because I would rather spend time with my family does not mean there is anything wrong with me. What some people do not understand is that friends are just friends your family will always be there. I have a few close friends who understand me and that is all I need. I have learned this the hard way when I left when it came to friends. I am not a partier, I feel like there is more to life. If that is how you are then fine but leave me out of it is all I ask, and don't make smart comments about me, if you don't like it then don't be my friend.

My New Years Resolution: Stop caring so much about what other people think. I am who I am and I am happy with that.

Getting ready for the new year!

I can't believe that I am already back in Texas! That weekend home went way to fast :( Although it went to fast I still had a great time. The night we got in, we went to my uncle Keith and aunt Sue's country club and ate dinner which was nice. The next day we went shopping all day for the Christmas party that night, I got to see Zach for only like a half an hour but it was better then nothing. Mr Terri came over with his sax and played Christmas carols and all the kids sang, it really felt like Christmas then. On Christmas day I watched Robert open his gifts and then me and Chase opened ours. We got this really cool speaker that the Iphone goes on or it can hook up to the tv. I go a orioles mug that was nice that I don't even want to use lol just have it sit out. Chase on the other hand got a Bengals hat that he hasn't taken off. Kim and Chloe came over which made my day that she came down. She got me this beautiful best friends engraved crystal that sits on a light. I was so surprised but I loved it. Chloe and Chase played the whole time. We all went outside and threw the football around even Chloe. That was fun until it started to hurt everyones hands. Caitlin and Kim came in with Aunt Candy which is always fun. I talked to Caitlin about school and how she is almost done which is great. She'll do good at anything she does. I talked to Kim for awhile about school and relationships, I'm glad that she is moving on even though it is a lot tougher then people say. I'm so proud of her. That night we went over my brothers house to see them. I was so excited to see the kids I was scared they may have forgotten about me. As usual I was wrong Nick was showing me everything he got running around all excited. Brady and Evan looked really focused on opening gifts, it was so cute. Emily has gotten so big I didn't recognize her, she doesn't look like a little kid anymore! I got some really cute pictures of all the kids that I am uploading as I type. I just wish my new niece would have made an appearance but I know she will come when she is ready or when the doctors have to tell her she is ready lol Can't wait to get back in a couple of months and see everyone more. Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Almost Christmas

Wow I haven't wrote since October! Things have been super busy, but I am going to take this time to catch up. My parents came down in November with my little cousin Robert for Thanksgiving, and it was an absolute blast, I loved seeing them. It was nice to see Robert in a different light, and doing so well. We went to Fort Worth and saw the bull run. It was really exciting to be able to spend my Thanksgiving with Chase and my parents could get to see him in his own environment.

My semester just ended last week, thank the lord! It was a struggle but I ended up with two A's and a B so I was happy. I want to become a teacher, so once again I am changing my major. Hopefully this will be the last time, but who knows. I know that I only need three classes to finish my AA so that is what I am going for now. I have to stay at CTC because my FAFSA form has the Texas address on it, so they are going to charge me 13,800 to attend out of state which sucks but it happens.

Oh yeah we have a new addition to the family, his name is Zeke. We think he is around 8 to 10 months old. We saw him in petco and couldn't resist. We have wanted a dog for a long time, and we seemed to click with him right away so now he is with us. We are having a little trouble keeping him off the bed but he is learning. He also does a lot better then Heidi does when we leave, which makes me really happy. He's a mama's boy, which I am okay with sometimes but it can be annoying.

I got my wisdom teeth out three days ago, and I am doing considerably well. I haven't had that much pain, I just think that I look like a chipmunk! Chase has been the best caretaker ever, he has been so sweet and understanding, I couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to go home and eat some home made Christmas dinner!

We go home next week and it is going to be a great trip I just know it! We have already found a nice place to hold Zeke for the week, I really feel comfortable about leaving him with them. They are actually going to evaluate him and see if he needs puppy classes. Although they want an arm and leg for the classes but we are going to try and work something out. I can't wait to see my mom and dad, I miss them so much. I have adjusted to being on my own with just Chase but it will be so nice to my family.

We are going to live in Ohio when Chase is out of the Army. We have really looked around into both places and it seems like Ohio will be the best option for us. This way he already has a job and his mom said that she could get me a job at a daycare so I can get my foot in the door with the teaching. This way I can see if I really like it or not. I am going to make a huge effort to make it home at least a weekend a month or a week. I just don't want to have to stay there long because I don't want it to affect our relationship. I think if we stay there about a month then we will be okay. One of big challenges is going to find a place to fit all our stuff lol but I am excited to start again. I am tired of this temporary feeling but I know it is going to feel like this until we get our own place.

Well we are going to go look at the lights and enjoy the last day of the weekend. This time it won't take me two months to write again! Merry Early Christmas!!<3
